Petelinka, one of Cherkizovo Group’s flagship brands and the best-selling chicken product, has entered into partnership with the iconic GUM Ice Rink, which opens annually on Red Square. This year, visitors will have an opportunity to take a break in the cozy Petelinka cottage and take photos next to a Christmas tree standing on chicken legs.
On the eve of the New Year, the Petelinka brand has decided to add a bit of magic and enchantment to the lives of Moscow’s residents and guests. Starting December 1, they will be able to visit the Petelinka cottage, which has flung its doors open in the heart of Russia’s capital at GUM Ice Rink. Guests can unwind after ice skating, make wishes while sitting on swings or in a magical sled, take photos, and simply have a great time here.
This year, Petelinka also takes part in New Year Trees at GUM, Red Square, an exhibition staged by Moscow’s oldest department store for over 15 years to offer its visitors a veritable fairy-tale forest. Dozens of pine trees in various styles have already lined up the central aisle on the premises of GUM. One of the most prominent ones is a New Year tree standing on chicken legs. It is very easy to find, as it is located right in the center next to GUM’s main New Year tree.
“With less than a month left until the New Year, the mood of the beloved holiday is already in the air. Some have probably started making shopping lists. For over 20 years now, many Russians have added Petelinka products to these lists, as they are a perfect choice for the New Year table. Located on the nation’s main ice rink, Petelinka cottage has become one of the places where you can fully appreciate the festive atmosphere these days. We are looking forward to meeting you there!” said Victoria Baltais, Marketing Director for Fresh Products.
Petelinka is the most recognizable chicken brand in Russia. Its products are free from harmful additives or preservatives, and sourced from chickens raised exclusively on in-house feeds. It is Russia’s best-selling chilled chicken brand and the market leader in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
