Cherkizovo Group’s chicken and turkey products have once again been awarded the annual Product of the Year title, with flagship brands Petelinka and Pava-Pava winning two categories of the award.
Product of the Year, the 25th installment of Russia’s annual national award ceremony, took place in Moscow to celebrate top-selling consumer goods in different categories, from food to home products.
Cherkizovo Group, Russia’s largest meat producer that has historically been among the award winners, saw its brands receive two Product of the Year titles this year. Petelinka received the Eco-friendly Meat Product award in the Chicken Meat category for the fourth year running. The Pava-Pava brand picked up the best Healthy Food award in the Turkey Meat category for the fifth time in a row.
Petelinka is Russia’s No. 1 chicken meat brand and the market leader in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Its products are free from harmful E-number additives or preservatives, and sourced from chickens raised exclusively on in-house feeds.
Tender and exceptionally low in fat, Pava-Pava’s turkey products are an absolute must for everyone who is health conscious. Turkey meat is hypoallergenic, and boasts an excellent microelement profile and easy digestibility. All of the brand’s turkeys are grown on modern farms located in ecologically pristine areas of the Tambov Region.
Petelinka and Pava-Pava have a track record of winning in other Product of the Year categories, with Petelinka receiving accolades for Poultry Cutlets (2019) and Chicken Meat (2018) and Pava-Pava taking the Eco-friendly Meat Product award (2018).
