Cherkizovo Group, Russia’s largest meat producer, has become a partner of the Gastreetfestival in Sochi for the third time in a row. The event brings together the restaurant market players. As part of the festival activities, Foodservice’s team organized a series of food tasting sessions and held talks with partners to promote mutually beneficial cooperation.
It is the eighth time the Krasnaya Polyana resort has hosted the Gastreet outdoor festival. It has become a go-to event for restaurant and catering professionals, offering a wealth of business activities and workshops. This year, the festival was attended by more than 6,700 people.
Cherkizovo Group took part in the festival by setting up a two-story 1980s-style restaurant. Foodservice’s team invited restaurant guests to taste meat products developed for the eating-out market, as well as other dishes. The Company’s Brand Chefs Alexander Chernyshov, Eduard Denisov and Maxim Morozov showcased their cooking skills by dishing up burgers, pizza, tom yum, rassolnik and even gold leaf bacon ice-cream.
During the festival, Cherkizovo Foodservice’s managers met with a number of strategic partners, such as major fast food chains Rostic’s, Burger King, Domino’s, Gagawa, retailer Metro and food suppliers Arosa, Vostok-Zapad, Azbuka Food Trade, to name just a few. Cherkizovo also held talks with potential partners.
“We are delighted to be part of the Gastreet festival, a major event in the industry. It is more than just a venue to exchange knowledge and strengthen business ties, it opens up a variety of marketing opportunities and helps forge new partnerships,” said Konstantin Kononov, Executive Director of Foodservice Sales at Cherkizovo.
