Moscow, Russia — June 27 — Cherkizovo Group, Russia’s largest meat producer, assisted the Gorbatov All-Russian Meat Research Institute in opening a coworking space. The formal opening of the bright and comfortable shared environment for young scientists was attended by the management and staff of the Gorbatov Institute, as well as representatives of Cherkizovo.
The coworking space was opened by Oksana Kuznetsova, Director of the Gorbatov All-Russian Meat Research Institute, and Anastasia Mikhailova, Head of Communications at Cherkizovo Group, who cut the ceremonial red ribbon to the applause of the guests. The space sits comfortably in the premises of a former canteen that dates back to 1948. The renovations began early in 2023 and involved Cherkizovo Group.
The space now boasts a stylish modern interior design and provides a comfortable working environment for the Institute researches, featuring cosy furniture, pleasant lighting, presentation equipment, and more.
In her welcoming remarks, Oksana Kuznetsova thanked Cherkizovo Group for assistance in opening the coworking space, reaffirming commitment to further strengthening ties between the Gorbatov All-Russian Meat Research Institute and the Company. In turn, Anastasia Mikhailova praised a nearly a half a century partnership between the Institute and Cherkizovo that began in 1974, when the Cherkizovsky Meat Processing Plant, the oldest production facility of the Group, launched operations in Moscow.
“Cherkizovo and the Gorbatov Institute have a shared goal of improving the quality of meat products in Russia, a goal that has been uniting us for the past 49 years. Given our long-standing cooperation, we were delighted to assist our partner in creating a comfortable coworking environment for scientists and visitors to drive further development of the domestic meat industry,” said Anastasia Mikhailova.
