Cherkizovo Group unveils its products at international exhibition in Ufa

Cherkizovo Group, Russia's largest meat producer, is taking part in Our Brand, an international food festival in Ufa. The Company showcased its products during a tasting session at its stand.

Our Brand, a dedicated food festival, is held at the VDNH EXPO exhibition complex in Ufa from November 23 to 25. This is the key event of the food industry in the Republic of Bashkortostan organized for the seventh time. This year's exhibition hosted about 150 companies from Bashkortostan and other Russian regions: manufacturers and suppliers of foods, ingredients, and technologies, wholesalers and retailers, restaurateurs and hoteliers.

Cherkizovo Group is rolling out ready-to-cook halal chicken products under the Turbaslinsky Broiler brand and original deli meats from the Cherkizovsky Meat Processing Plant. At the Company's stand, guests are welcome not only to taste the products but also to learn about its operations in the region and plans going forward.

On the first day, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, visited Cherkizovo Group's stand. He discussed the outlook of the republic's poultry industry with the Company's team. The meeting also highlighted opportunities to strengthen Cherkizovo's partnership with Bashkir foodservice companies.

Cherkizovo Group kicked off its operations in Bashkortostan in 2022 by acquiring five poultry farms with an annual live-weight capacity of 65,000 tonnes of broiler meat and annual processing capacity of 25,000 tonnes. In the region, the Company also operates a feed mill with an annual capacity of 240,000 tonnes, and a land bank of 18,000 hectares. By 2026, Cherkizovo plans to increase poultry production in Bashkortostan to 125,000 tonnes.
