Kaliningrad, Russia – August 2 – Cherkizovo Group, Russia’s largest meat producer, has taken part in All-Russian Field Day 2022, an exhibition held in the Kaliningrad Region. The Company showcased its best products during a tasting session and discussed development prospects with the leaders of several Russian regions.

Founded in 2004, the All-Russian Field Day exhibition aims to display the achievements of the Russian agricultural industry. The event provides a space for demonstrating the latest agricultural technologies, innovative land use techniques, advanced agricultural machinery, and the offering of agricultural producers, breeders and R&D institutions. This year the All-Russian Field Day was held at the village of Sokolniki (Gvardeysky District of the Kaliningrad Region) from July 28 to July 30. The visitors included local residents, the region’s guests and thousands of agricultural professionals from across the country.

Cherkizovo Group also took part in the exhibition as the owner of Otechestvenny Product, a Kaliningrad-based production facility supplying fast food restaurants with ham and beef patties. Specifically for the event, the Company put up tents where guests could taste a variety of meat products, including both locally produced ham and patties and dry sausages made by Cherkizovo facilities based in Moscow, as well as the Moscow and Leningrad regions.

“The queues that swelled with people wishing to try Cherkizovo foods at the tents serve as yet another proof of how popular our meat products are and how much credit our consumers give to our goods for their quality and taste characteristics. Fortunately for us, our predictions about the frenzied demand for our products were right, so we had brought enough supplies to hold on for the entire three days,” said Anastasia Mikhailova, Head of Communications at Cherkizovo Group.

During the All-Russian Field Day, Cherkizovo Group did not only treat guests to its delicacies, but also took part in the business events. We held meetings with the leaders of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Tambov, Lipetsk and Kaliningrad regions to discuss the potential for the Company’s growth in these territories.
