Tula, Russia – July 28 – Cherkizovo Group, Russia’s largest meat producer, presented its products at the 2022 AGRO-TULA festival. The guests were invited to try Cherkizovo’s quality sausages produced at the Company’s fully automated robot plant in Kashira.
The festival running from July 18 to 24 at the city’s central square featured a variety of agricultural products from farmers and food manufacturers across Russia. The festival’s guests included the Tula Region’s Minister of Agriculture Alexey Stepin and Head of Administration Dmitry Milyaev.
Cherkizovo Group also took part in the event. The Company’s pavilion hosted a tasting of smoked sausages made by Cherkizovo Kashira, Russia’s first robot plant operating in a fully automated mode at each production stage, from raw material input to finished product shipment.
“We opted for Cherkizovo Kashira in a strive to offer the people of Tula a taste of sausages produced at the most innovative engineering facility. Our meat processing cluster to be built in the Tula Region will boast similar state-of the-art technology,” says Rustam Khafizov, Head of Cherkizovo Group’s Innovative Analysis Center. According to Mr Khafizov, all participants of the session enjoyed the taste and quality of Cherkizovo’s products.
Last year, Cherkizovo Group and the Tula Region’s Administration agreed on the construction of a meat processing cluster at the Yefremov Territory of Advanced Social and Economic Development. It will include a facility for slaughtering, storage, and processing of pork, as well as a facility for broiler slaughtering and primary and further processing. The Company will also ramp up its Kompas Foods’ output of ready-to-cook chicken products for food service customers.
