Petelinka, Cherkizovo, Kurinoe Tsarstvo, Pava-Pava and six other brands of Cherkizovo Group made it to the rating of Russia’s most popular brands compiled by research company NTech. The rating also confirmed the undisputed leadership of Petelinka in the chicken product category.

NTech, an FMCG market analyst since 2013, unveiled the NTech 500 rating, which includes brands of food products available in Russia. The rating is based on the brand's share in total sales. To assess them, NTech used an in-house consumer basket model providing detailed data on sales of over 400,000 SKUs from 22 categories across major nationwide retail chains.

Ten brands from Cherkizovo Group's portfolio made it to the NTech 500 rating in 2023, with Petelinka taking the top spot (ranking 13th). Moreover, Petelinka became an undisputed leader in the Poultry: Chicken category, as the brand's score is twice as high as the score of its closest competitor. Petelinka also topped the Natural Ready-to-Cook Poultry Products and Whole Birds ratings.

Other brands of the Group included in the NTech 500 rating are Cherkizovo, Cherkizovo Premium, Pava-Pava, Kurinoe Tsarstvo, Atlaisky Broiler, Turbaslinsky Broiler, Imperiya Vkusa, Myasnaya Gubernia and Latifa.

The list of the most popular brands also featured Casademont, a Spanish meat and sausage brand produced in Russia under a license at Cherkizovo Group’s facility in the Leningrad Region. Despite its niche positioning, Casademont surpassed many other mass consumer brands.

“The high quality and variety of our products are the key factors of their success among consumers. This success is confirmed by the rating of the most popular Russian brands. We are particularly pleased that this rating includes not only our flagship nationwide brands, but also regional products that are popular among residents of Siberia and the Urals,” said Anastasia Mikhailova, Head of Communications at Cherkizovo Group.
