Kommersant business daily has released yet another annual Top 1,000 Russian Managers ranking compiled by the Russian Managers Association. This time, four Cherkizovo Group executives made it to the top: Oleg Zakov, Director at Cherkizovo Trade House; Irina Kim, Ready Meals Marketing Director; Natalya Klepikova, Head of Government Relations; and Evgeny Subbotin, Director for Procurement, Logistics, and Supplies.
Oleg Zakov was recognized the best CCO of agricultural companies for the third year in a row. In 2022, efforts of his team helped Cherkizovo Group bolster its market share in branded chicken products and consolidate the position of the Company's key brands, including Petelinka, Cherkizovo, and Pava-Pava. Cherkizovo was also the industry’s pioneer to employ AI-powered automation of merchandising processes, helping to boost the presence of the Company's products in retail.
Evgeny Subbotin, Cherkizovo Group's Director for Procurement, Logistics, and Supplies, also won accolades as the best in the industry for the third year running. Last year, he managed to maintain seamless supplies of products in the wake of sanctions and develop new export and import logistics. In addition, Evgeny's team optimized costs and automated procurement and logistics processes.
Natalya Klepikova was named the best head of GR in the agricultural industry for the third time. Last year, Natalya's team, together with other Cherkizovo Group divisions, took a number of steps to use state support, helping to bring in substantial savings for the Company. On top of that, together with industry unions, the Company managed to improve the regulatory environment in the agricultural industry.
Irina Kim, Ready Meals Marketing Director, made it to the Top 1,000 Russian Managers rating for the first time. Her achievements include strengthening sales leadership of the Cherkizovo brand in the dry sausage and ham segments, as well as further expansion of the product range. Over the past year, efforts of Irina and her team won numerous awards, including for product innovation.
